For the fishing enthusiast, when it gets cold… that doesn’t mean they stop fishing. unlike other outdoor activities fishing adapts with the climates and season changes. The gear might change the techniques are different but with some luck, unless your of the mindset “its a learned skill” the outcome is the same.

These images were of my brother and a close family friend at the end of their ice fishing trip on a beautiful 40 degree day in February, 2026. Standing on the ice and waiting was such a calming experience that is a great way to start the great outdoor project.
